Diversant, LLC., is an information technology (IT) staffing company which like their name implies is committed to the principle of diversity. John Goullet founded Info Technologies in 1994 and today serves as the chairman of the board of Diversant. Diversant is not only committed to the idea of diversity but also serving their two-sided base of operations, which is connecting competent individuals with positions at companies that share some of the ethical considerations of Diversant, itself.
Today’s business world openly welcomes this sense of diversity that is endorsed by Diversant. New ideas do often come from new sources, and the constant application of standard procedures to all business practices and the filling of positions at a company without racial diversity does not enhance a company’s reputation among the racially diverse United States of America. Our country was dedicated to personal freedom but at the time was juxtaposed to a system of slavery that would need another nine decades to be finally abolished. In the 150 years since the Civil War, many things have remained de facto similar to decades before. But finally, advancements have been seen in racial relations. Competent and educated blacks are filling positions of prominence among law enforcement and the legal professions that should accelerate the advancements of blacks in America even though we are witnessing a resurgence of bigotry in the world from Republicans down to the lesser educated but often bigoted middle class. Hopefully, it is the last embers of a fire that will forever lose its power very soon. Changes do not happen without struggle and America is still in that struggle, but businesses like Diversant and executives like John Goullet are symbols of success for the human condition.
